New tasks fall on you from meetings, chats, email, and other channels. When these tasks are scattered around in email, to-do -list, notepad, etc., getting an overall picture of the current workload can be difficult. If this sounds familiar, the time management intro session is for you.

Welcome to the time management intro session which is everything but a lecture. We have an interesting introduction, real-life stories, and useful tools, but the magic happens when we give time for conversation and make actual change.

Learning targets in this session:

  1. To define your main challenges with time management.
  2. To make a concrete change to improve your time management.

Bio:

Jussi Laurila is an entrepreneur from Lahti, although mentally he lives also in Helsinki and Tampere. He has been a part-time entrepreneur for six years and he leaped into full-time entrepreneurship a year ago. Last three years he has focused on time management at office work. In practice, that means improving task management, calendar management, and meeting practices.

Jussi operates via workshops where team members improve their individual time management skills, and the team finds practices for smarter work. A typical participant is a team from a large company where calendars are full of meetings and people are drowning in emails.
