The 2016 conference will again be a full-day event with an anticipated audience of about 100-150. This conference is independently organized and presented by PMI Finland Chapter. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter.

Since the beginning of this year, we always offer remote connection and you can join us from any place. The only requirement is to have a computer/laptop/tablet with headset and internet connection. No dial in is required. To join the BRT remotely, you should:
- register via the link included in the invitation email
- mark remote attendance
- After you register for remote attendance the link to the remote session will be sent to you 2 days prior the meeting
We use Adobe Connect, you do not need to install anything special when using standard PC or laptop, the meeting will open in your default browser. For iOS devices you can download adobe application free of charge from the AppStore.

PMI Educational Foundation has material what can be given to schools for teaching basics of project managements to students.
We have volunteering opportunities for persons who wish to bring PM information to schools. Often this school that the one where one’s kids are going and we wish that our children are provided with basic information early in their schoold career and thus have benefits of PM knowledge already during their school years.
You can be voluneer by ‘adopting a school’ and we also offer coordination position who will help and work with the volunteers in this area.
The volunteer shall contact school and work through the material with teachers, enabling teachers to use the material in their work. Intention is that volunteer will not be working directly with students, but supporting teachers as required.

PMI will launch the new CCR Program on Dec. 1st 2015 and PDUs need to be earned and claimed a little different. The overall framework of the CCR program remains the same. Certification holders will continue to earn PDUs in the categories of Education and Giving Back. Here are the highlights of how PDUs in those categories are classified:
60% of PDUs are now required in this category, providing you with additional educational opportunities.
Education PDUs are aligned with the PMI Talent Triangle.
A minimum number of PDUs must be earned in Technical Project Management, Leadership, and Strategic and Business Management categories.
